A unique Piece of art from the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and northern Mexico. It was handcrafted from desert Ironwood ( Olneya tesota ), very dense and heavy wood of intriguing origin. To be suitable for carving the wood must be exposed to the extreme of the climate conditions that only exist in the desert. The government has restricted the harvesting of living ironwood trees. To preserve your art piece for years to come, polish with a soft cloth and occasionally apply a light coat of neutral pace type shoe wax. MD: Length: 6" Height: 5" Width: 2"
