The central figure depicts the sacred Eagle Dancer, an important Zuni and Pueblo symbol representing the connection between the earthly and spiritual realms.Crafted in coin silver (90% silver), a material commonly used by Zuni silversmiths during the early-to-mid 20th century, the bracelet reflects traditional techniques of melting and repurposing silver coins.The piece is connected to the historic J.L. Hubbell Trading Post in Ganado, Arizona, established in 1878 and recognized as the oldest continuously operating trading post on the Navajo Nation.
